An examination of the motives and actions of terrorists, the governmental response toterrorism, especially in the wake of 9/11, and the legal and constitutional restraints on thegovernment. Included will be issues such as surveillance of American citizens, detention ofsuspected terrorists, enemy combatants, limits on the methods of interrogation, and use ofmilitary tribunals.Pre-Requisite: eMajor Introduction Quiz and CRJU 1100 with a minimum grade of C.
